Sadness


We are incredibly sad today, as my mother-in-law passed away. Norah told me that her head was swimming and that she couldn’t process her emotions. I told her that while I couldn’t tell her how she should feel, I could share with her how I was feeling — sad, because I loved her and will miss her terribly, but also happy and blessed, because I got to have her as part of my life for the past 16 years.
