Coronavirus Update 10-30-2020: I’m tired

As we round the corner to month eight of "living with COVID-19," I thought now is a good time to ask everyone, "How are you doing?"

Me? I'm tired.

I'm tired of keeping my distance.

I'm tired of always sanitizing my hands.

I'm tired of always wearing a mask.

I'm tired of not being able to gather with family and friends.

I'm tired of not going to concerts.

I'm tired of not dining out.

I'm tired of being responsible.

I'm tired of living with coronavirus.

Yet, even if I'm done with COVID, I also know that COVID isn't done with us. Numbers are rising exponentially. Hospital beds are filling. People are still suffering and dying. So I will keep doing all of those things that I'm tired of doing because I know it's what I have to do to keep me and those around me safe. Living with coronavirus is better than dying from coronavirus. So I will keep acting responsibly no matter how tiring it is.

I'd love to know how you're doing. If you'd like to share, leave a comment below, email me, @ me or DM on Twitter, or leave a comment on LinkedIn here.

It's going to be a long winter; we are going to need as much support as we can get.
