WIRTW #518 (the “no-stress zone” edition)

What de-stresses you? Where do you go, or what do you do, that makes all the stress in your life melt away?

My wife and I recently spent a few days in Sedona, Arizona. We hiked, we jeep-toured, and we drank wine.

It was the most stress-free we've felt in years.

I don't know if it was the beauty of the red rocks, the serenity of communing with nature, or the energy of its famous vortexes.

But all the stress in our lives really did just disappear, at least for a few days, and we both felt this overwhelming sense of calm.

And I wish it was a whole lot closer so that we could go there all the time.

Which brings me back to the lede. What makes your stress disappear? Where is your happy place?
